Adamantia G. Kontogeorgi is a highly accomplished medical professional specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology, with an impressive academic and professional background. Currently she has been training succesfully as Fertility Doctor at Serum IVF Fertility Center in Athens. Before this, Adamantia served as a Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the General University Hospital Attikon in Athens, Greece and was engaged in pivotal research on female reproduction at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, contributing significantly to the field from March 2018 to March 2020. Her journey in medicine also includes critical roles as a Trainee Doctor in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Surgery, as well as a Rural Doctor in Vassiliki Health Centre, Lefkada, Greece.
Adamantia is pursuing a Ph.D. focusing on the effect of third-generation progesterone inhibitors in the endometrium at the University of Crete. She holds a Master of Science in Female Reproduction from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has completed fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery and Robotic Surgery & IVF at the World Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi, India. Her foundational medical education was obtained at the University of Patras, Greece, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Medicine. She is a prolific researcher with publications in esteemed journals on a wide range of topics, including fertility in childhood cancer survivors, the effects of aromatase inhibitors, and the management of breast cancer concerning fertility preservation.
